Following the introduction of Axovet® MAPS (Mechanically Activated Platelet Secretome), we are pleased to share the first Scientific Brief describing the biological rationale behind this new autologous orthobiologic approach.

The document reviews:

  • the rationale for controlled mechanical platelet activation;
  • the concept of collecting an autologous platelet secrectome rather than administering intact platelets;
  • the complementary positioning of Axovet® MAPS alongside Axovet® PRP;
  • our first analytical observations obtained by Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA).

These preleminary results demonstrate an increased concentration of nanosized particles following the MAPS preparation process, supporting the proof of concept and guiding the next stages of biological characterization.
