Revatis is pleased to announce that the Belgian medicines agency, FAMHP, has authorised a clinical study evaluating Exovet RLC-100 for the treatment of keratitis in horses.
Following two completed clinical studies with an autologous cell product, this is Revatis' first authorised study with a non-immunological biological product.
Exovet RLC100 is an extracellular vesicle-enriched secretome generated through a patented technology from Revatis' proprietary muscle-derived stem cell line.
Beyond its clinical objective, the study will also provide clinically relevant preclinical and translational data to support future development in human ophtalmology.
